Our Wedding

Like many great modern love stories, ours began on Tinder. Neither of us was looking for forever—just a date, maybe a few laughs, definitely no expectations of marriage. Turns out, the universe had other plans.Over the past almost ten years, we’ve built a life full of contrast and connection. We’ve experienced some incredible highs—adopting our fur babies, buying our first home, traveling together, spontaneous day trips, and creating a space that truly feels like HOME. We’ve also walked through very real lows (if you know you know) the strength it took to grow, heal, and choose each other every single day will forever amaze me.Somewhere in between the big milestones are the moments that mean the most to us: random Tuesday night dance parties while cooking dinner, laughing at inside jokes no one else understands, and finding comfort just by being in the same room. Through it all, we’ve learned that love isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up, holding on, and moving forward together. After nearly a decade side by side, we can say with certainty that we are best friends. There’s nothing in this world we can’t face as long as we’re together—and we can’t wait to keep choosing each other for the rest of our lives.

Tux vs. Suit: What's the Difference?

We’re celebrating Kayla Ellis and Adam Manseau’s wedding on July 17, 2027, in Vik, Iceland. Please dress in smart, weather-ready attire that fits our vintage-inspired, green-accented spring/summer style.Suggested attire:- For everyone: Dress in layers—light coats, shawls, or wool-blend sweaters are recommended for coastal winds and cooler evenings. - Suggested palette and style: Earthy greens, muted florals, cream, and warm neutrals; vintage silhouettes, textured fabrics, and classic accessories complement the setting.- For women: Midi or maxi dresses, tailored jumpsuits, or dressy separates with a light outer layer and comfortable shoes suitable for uneven ground.- For men: Lightweight suits, blazers with trousers, or dress shirts with smart trousers; ties optional. Consider wool blends or heavier linens for warmth. - Footwear: Closed-toe shoes or low-heeled boots are best—Vik’s terrain can be rocky and uneven. - Outerwear & rain: We may have wind and occasional rain—water-resistant outerwear and a compact umbrella are recommended. - Accessories & comfort: Hats, scarves, and gloves can be useful; please bring layers so you stay comfortable throughout the day. If you have specific accessibility or clothing concerns, please contact us on the RSVP page.
