Like many great modern love stories, ours began on Tinder. Neither of us was looking for forever—just a date, maybe a few laughs, definitely no expectations of marriage. Turns out, the universe had other plans.Over the past almost ten years, we’ve built a life full of contrast and connection. We’ve experienced some incredible highs—adopting our fur babies, buying our first home, traveling together, spontaneous day trips, and creating a space that truly feels like HOME. We’ve also walked through very real lows (if you know you know) the strength it took to grow, heal, and choose each other every single day will forever amaze me.Somewhere in between the big milestones are the moments that mean the most to us: random Tuesday night dance parties while cooking dinner, laughing at inside jokes no one else understands, and finding comfort just by being in the same room. Through it all, we’ve learned that love isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up, holding on, and moving forward together.After nearly a decade side by side, we can say with certainty that we are best friends. There’s nothing in this world we can’t face as long as we’re together—and we can’t wait to keep choosing each other for the rest of our lives.

Opened in July 2018, Hótel Kría is located in Vík. Among the various facilities are a garden and a bar. There is a restaurant. The black sand beaches begin about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel. All rooms have a modern interior design and are fully equipped with complimentary WiFi, communal area, LCD, Satellite TV, hairdryer, clothing rack, extra pillows, phone, soap, and a kettle with tea and coffee. The rooms are fitted with a desk and a private bathroom. The daily breakfast includes a cold and hot buffet.
